HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Reno County Health Department Director Nick Baldetti updated the county's statistics on tests administered on Wednesday morning, leaving out the ones taken at the Kansas State Fairgrounds.

"Nine hundred and sixty-six tests were run in Reno County external of the Walmart testing site," Baldetti said. "With 925 negatives, external of the Walmart testing site, we're at a case positive rate of about 4.25%."

All 150 Walmart tests on the county's dashboard have come back negative, but there are some other Reno County tests outstanding.

"As of this morning, we are still awaiting 82 test results that are in queue to be reported," Baldetti said.

According to the county's dashboard on Wednesday, only three cases have required ventilation throughout the pandemic, only five were admitted to the ICU and just one is still in the hospital.
