MCPHERSON, Kan. — The COVID-19 case count in McPherson County is now up to 19 and a second McPherson Dillons employee has tested positive for the virus. Ten McPherson County cases have recovered.
The latest identified positive cases are females in their twenties and fifties. Both are recovering at home. The Dillons employee was at work April 16, 17, 18 and 19 from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you were at the McPherson Dillons at those times, you may have been exposed to COVID-19.
If you get symptoms in the next several days, call your local health care provider or the McPherson County Health Department at (620) 241-1753.
Dillons continues to offer emergency leave to those diagnosed and follow all sanitation and cleaning procedures as recommended by the CDC.
Continue to follow the social distancing guidelines and the Stay at Home order. Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds when necessary, practice proper respiratory etiquette and when possible wear cloth face coverings or homemade masks in public.
