HUTCHINSON, Kan. — During all major events in US history, people documented it as it happened not only to remember those people, recall their hardships, and learn from them; but also, to see their resiliency, strength, and how they overcame adversity.
The Reno County Museum is introducing a new “Share Your Story” program. This program will allow the community to share their stories of struggle and perseverance. These stories will both capture history as its unfolding and allow the Museum to build a deeper connection within the community during these times of separation.
The goal is to make that connection possible as the community experiences this moment in history together.
The museum said in a Friday release, "We want everyone to have an active role in our local history and the story that is told both now and for future generations."
The museum invites the public to share their stories documenting this pandemic in a variety of ways. You can submit your story in the form of a video, writing, photo, or artwork by using the form on www.renocomuseum.org.
