BUHLER, Kan. — Buhler USD 313 is attempting to have a graduation ceremony later this summer.
In a letter to Seniors and their parents and guardians, principal Michael Ellegood said they plan to recognize the Class of 2020 on July 18 at 9:00 a.m. at Crusader Field in Buhler. Graduation practice will be 9:00 a.m. July 17 at Buhler High School.
The date was chosen with the idea that COVID-19 will have run its course by then. Baccalaureate has been scheduled for Sunday July 12 at 3 p.m.
Those dates are dependent upon the Governor and the Reno County Health Department allowing large group gatherings by that time.
Jostens has told the district they will provide a template to print the new date for graduation and the Foto Cowboy will be taking photographs. More information will be released as the date approaches.
