MARION COUNTY — The COVID-19 count in Marion County is now at three.
In a Sunday release, Diedre Serene, the Health Officer with Marion County's Health Department said the case involves a female between the ages of 55 and 64. The Marion County Health Department is identifying and contacting those individuals who may have been exposed.
Close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer. Close contacts will be monitored for fever and respiratory symptoms. No other information will be released about the patient.
Serene continues to stress the importance of social distancing and infection control measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
