WICHITA, Kan. - As the nation continues the stay-at-home orders in effect to limit the spread of COVID-19, the Wichita State cheer team has created a virtual tryout process for the 2020-2021 cheer team. Cheerleaders interested in competing at the collegiate level are asked to submit a video as outlined in the PDF attached at the top of this release.
In order to register for the tryout process, participants need to fill out the online form located at the top of this release then create a video of yourself performing the material outlined above, and send the video to Kelli Rappard ([email protected]) . Videos can be a compilation of past practices, previous performances or what you have access to in your area. All videos need to be received by May 8. Based on the videos received an initial team will be announced as well as call-backs on May 15. If you are listed as a call-back, once the stay-at-home orders have been lifted we'd like to see you in person with the initial team.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Kevin ([email protected]) or Coordinator Kelli ([email protected]).
