South Hutchinson offices closed, court dates continued

SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The City of South Hutchinson announced that, effective March 18, the city office and police department will be closed to the public.

City utility customers are encouraged to pay utility bills by phone at 620-663-7104 or on the website at www.southhutch.com. Residents can also use the drive-thru or the night dropbox. The city also announced that there will not be any disconnections for non-payment between now and April 13.

Also, South Hutchinson Municipal Court announced that all arraignments, hearings, pre-trials and trials that are currently scheduled are continued until April 28 or later. If you have one of these types of cases scheduled, a notice will be mailed to the last known address on file with the court.

If you have a pay or reappear or payment agreement with the court, you will need to continue to make your scheduled payments or appear in court at 2 p.m. on your scheduled court date.

The South Hutchinson community building will be closed through May 13. Those who have reservations for an event from now until then will receive a full refund because of cancellation.
