COWLEY COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal shooting and have identified the victim
Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to 17698 271st Road in the rural community of Cambridge, according to Sheriff Dave Faletti.
Officers located a man identified as Jacob Cole Neuttrouer, 38, with a gunshot wound to his chest. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
This was not an officer involved shooting, according to Faletti. The sheriff's office will release additional details as they become available.
