A Winter Storm Watch is in effect from late tonight through Tuesday afternoon.
According to the watch issuance from the National Weather Service, some mixed precipitation is possible, especially at the onset. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches with locally higher amounts are possible. Ice accumulations of a light glaze are also possible.
The precipitation will come mainly after midnight and last through late Tuesday afternoon.
Travel will become difficult with heavy wet snow. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute.
