HUTCHINSON, Kan.— Some South Hutchinson city employees will be getting a bonus for their work after the proposal was approved by the city council Tuesday night.
The board approved a $600 bonus for all six public works employees and $600 for the court clerk and the utility billing clerk.
Also Tuesday the council approved the new guidelines and fees for the community building.
The new rental fee for the building will be $150 with a $250 deposit. There are now new rules for cleaning the property, access to the building and getting keys to the facility. The hours the facility is available are now 9 a.m. until midnight.
The council also heard a report from Chamber President Debra Teufel regarding the Rise Up Hutch campaign as part of their agenda Tuesday.
