NICKERSON, Kan. - The Nickerson USD 309 School Board will take action on a resolution to search out a candidate for a vacant board seat during tonight’s meeting.
Brian Teichman recently resigned from the board. His resignation leaves two vacant seats on the Board. Tammie Davis resigned in late summer and her seat has still not been filled. That leaves the Board with just five members.
The Board will also have to elect a new Vice President with Teichman’s departure and take action on some purchases for the district.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the district offices at 4501 W 4th just west of Fun Valley.
