HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Despite the cold weather, work on the North Main Street project is up and running again after a short holiday break.
Hutchinson Public Works announced that APAC-Kansas will continue construction of the waterline between 9th and 13th avenues. Starting Monday, work will begin on the mainline connections and some service connections. There will be times that the water main will be turned off during this work. Advance notification will be put out for all water service disruptions.
The following week, work crews will be closing down 11th on both sides of Main Street. There will be no access to or from Main Street for that week so crews can work on mainline connections.
