
HUTCHINSON, Kan. – The Reno County Commission made it official Tuesday that Don Brittain will be the new head of Reno County Public Works. He’ll replace Dave McComb who retires on Dec. 27.
Reno County Administrator Gary Meagher talked of the experience that Brittain has with the county but also with the Kansas Department of Transportation.
“Don Brittain has been with the county since July of 2010,” said Meagher. He has 22-years of experience at KDOT, District 5 as their superintendent prior to coming to Reno County.
Meagher says he will be give a market rate salary of $98,889 per-year. His contract with the county will begin on Dec. 28 which is a Saturday.
