HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Police continue to receive citizen complaints about residents driving in excess of the posted 20 mph speed zone in the Central Christian/Union Valley school zone on East 30th Avenue.
Officers conducted a special enforcement assignment Tuesday between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. in that school zone. Officers issued 16 speeding citations during that one-hour period.
It’s advised that you watch your speed in all school zones with police officials noting that this type of enforcement will continue throughout the city.
