LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Devon Dotson had 22 points along with nine assists to help No. 2 Kansas to an easy 95-68 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Tuesday night. Ochai Agbaji also had 22 points while Udoka Azubuike had 15 points and 17 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who ran their home win streak to 26 games. They used a 40-12 run to start the game and basically put it away. Darius Roy led the Panthers with 25 points while leading scorer Te'Jon Lucas was held to just 11.

WACO, Texas (AP) — No. 11 Baylor held on for another win against a ranked team. Mark Vital blocked Kamar Baldwin's potential go-ahead shot with 1.5 seconds left and the Bears beat No. 18 Butler 53-52. It was the second win in a row, and third this season, by Baylor over a Top 25 team. Butler became the third team Tuesday night to lose for the first time. No. 1 Louisville and No. 4 Maryland both lost earlier in the evening. That leaves only five undefeated Division I teams.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The offensive-minded Kansas City Chiefs leaned on their rapidly improving defense to beat the New England Patriots on Sunday. They held Tom Brady to 169 yards passing and the Patriots to 278 yards. They also made the crucial fourth-down stop as the Patriots were trying for the tying touchdown in the closing seconds, something they failed to do during last year's AFC title game loss at Arrowhead Stadium. The result was clinching a fourth straight AFC West title and keeping alive their hopes for a first-round playoff bye.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — New Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz is expressing confidence. At his introductory news conference, he predicted the Tigers would eventually win the SEC East and a bowl game. Drinkwitz was hired to replace Barry Odom, the former Missouri player whose program had slipped into mediocrity. Drinkwitz is coming off a 12-1 season at Appalachian State that included wins over North Carolina and South Carolina and a victory over Louisiana-Lafayette in the Sun Belt title game. He also has just one year of head-coaching experience.

National Headlines

NEW YORK (AP) — This year's College Football Hall of Fame class has no Heisman Trophy winners. Vince Young of Texas, Darren McFadden of Arkansas and Lorenzo White of Michigan State were all contenders for the award. Young launched an era of dual-threat quarterbacks. McFadden was a running back at the time of the QB revolution. White was at his best as a sophomore when the Heisman was always went to upperclassmen. Had they played at different times, maybe their Heisman campaigns would have gone differently. This year's Heisman will be awarded on Saturday.

NEW YORK (AP) — Davide Moretti scored 18 points and hit successive 3-pointers that helped Texas Tech knock off undefeated No. 1 Louisville 70-57 on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden. It's the third time an unranked team has beaten an AP No. 1 this season. The Red Raiders had their biggest win since they made the NCAA championship game last season. Louisville became the fourth top-ranked team to lose this season, joining Michigan State, Duke and Kentucky.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The Minnesota Twins finalized a $20 million, two-year contract with suspended pitcher Michael Pineda and a $4.25 million, one-year deal with catcher Alex Avila. Pineda went 11-5 with a 4.01 ERA in 146 innings over 26 starts for the Twins in 2019. He was suspended for 60 games by Major League Baseball on Sept. 7 following a positive test for a banned substance. He will finish the suspension at the start of next season.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Shortstop Didi Gregorius is reuniting with manager Joe Girardi in Philadelphia. He has agreed with the Phillies on a $14 million, one-year contract. Gregorius spent the last five years with the New York Yankees, the first three playing for Girardi. Gregorius missed the early part of last season after Tommy John surgery to repair an elbow ligament torn during the 2018 playoffs. He hit .238 with 16 homers and 61 RBIs.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Astros manager AJ Hinch says he is eager to tell his side of the story regarding allegations Houston used electronics to steal signs in 2017, but he is going to let Major League Baseball talk first.
