HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College men's basketball team dropped one spot to No. 16 in the final poll of the regular season released by the NJCAA on Monday afternoon.
Hutchinson is currently 24-5 overall, 19-4 in Jayhawk Conference play. The Blue Dragons close out the regular season on Wednesday at Garden City for a 7:30 p.m. tip.
The Blue Dragons have already locked up the No. 3 seed in the upcoming Region VI Tournament. The No. 3 seed guarantees a first round bye, and a quarterfinal game at the Sports Arena on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Hutchinson is one of four Jayhawk Conference schools in the Top 25. Barton stays put at No. 1 for the second straight week, while Cowley (No. 11), Hutch and Butler (No. 24) all stay in the rankings.
