MANHATTAN, Kan. — Eight Kansas State football players were honored for their work in the classroom as the group was named Academic All-District performers by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Tight end Will Anciaux, running back Dylan Edwards, offensive lineman Sam Hecht, quarterback Avery Johnson, offensive lineman Easton Kilty, linebacker Austin Moore, defensive end Brendan Mott and linebacker Austin Romaine each picked up the honor. Moore and Mott were each honored for the third time in their careers.
The 2024 Academic All‐District Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student‐athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All‐America program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Of K-State's eight All-District honorees, Kilty, Moore, Mott and Romaine will advance to the national ballot for Academic All-America honors to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced January 28.
