GREAT BEND, Kan. — Barton (6-3, 0-3) played with No. 5 Hutchinson (10-0, 4-0) for almost 15 minutes before the Dragons pulled away for good.
The Cougars actually led by as many as six in the first half before Hutchinson used a 3:30 stretch to go up 12.
Hutchinson took a 52-42 lead into the break.
The Dragons went up by as many as 30 in the second half behind 24 points from Kaimen Lennox and 22 from Angelo Stuart.
Jacquez Yow just missed a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds.
Nate Goodlow only scored six points with four rebounds, but added nine steals and seven assists.
Kobe Campbell scored 17 off the bench.
The Cougars had 25 turnovers that the Dragons turned into 36 points.

Hutchinson shot 49.4% on 83 attempts. The Dragons made 10 of 28 three-pointers after starting 0-6.
