ARKANSAS CITY, Kan.—The Salthawk Girls ran their record to 7-8 with a win over Ark City 51-17 Friday night at the dog house in Arkansas City.
Hutch was led by Ziya Simms with 16 points and Mya Thompson with 15 points.
The Salthawk Boys were not as lucky dropping a tough fought game to the Bull Dogs 55-50. Hutchinson trailed by 7 at the half and trailed by the same margin going into the 4th quarter but were able to tie the game 3 times in the last 5:36 before turning the ball over twice in the last minute of play and giving the ball up to Ark City.

Myles Thompson had another great game with 20 points and 12 rebounds on the night.
Next action for Hutchinson will be Tuesday night at the SAC versus Maize High School weather permitting.
