Future Blue Dragon Garrison in KBCA game Saturday

Future Hutchinson Community College men's basketball player Jayden Garrison will be playing on Saturday at the Kansas Basketball Coaches' Association All-Star Game on Saturday in Salina.

Garrison, a consensus Class 1A all-state player from Little River, will be a member of KBCA Blue All-Star team. The game will tip off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Kansas Wesleyan University.

Garrison was the No. 3-leading scorer in the state, according to MaxPreps statistics. The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 24.4 points per game in his senior season at Little River. He shot 53 percent overall and 40 percent from 3-point range (68 made 3s). Garrison also averaged 4.4 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.2 assists per game.

Garrison have five games of 30 or more points, including a season high of 35 points against Peabody-Burns.

Garrison and Little River advanced this season to the Class 1A state semifinals.
