Case count in Reno County above 200, hospitalizations remain low

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Reno County COVID-19 case count is now above 200. As of Monday evening, there are 216 active cases in Reno County, with 263 recovered and one death.

The county's COVID-19 dashboard still has 101 cases active at Hutchinson Correctional Facility, with nine other cluster related cases still active. That means there are 106 cases in the county not connected with a cluster.

5,668 Reno County residents have been tested, with 5,188 negatives for a positive test rate of 8.47%. The community positive test rate is steady at 6.66%. 9.02% of the Reno County population has been tested.

Five people remain in the hospital as of Monday evening.
