NEWTON Kan. — The number of COVID-19 cases in Harvey County continues to rise. Four new cases of coronavirus were revealed on Thursday, bringing the total number of active cases in the county to 16.
A female in her 20s, a female in her 30s, and a female in her 50s along with a male in his 20s are the four new cases. All are in home isolation and all were tested by a private lab.
The Health Department is strongly encouraging people to wash their hands frequently and practice good hygiene and social distancing.
Harvey County has had 32 cases of COVID-19 to date.
