HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Community College athletic department announced it will host a celebration for the Blue Dragon women's basketball team on Tuesday, April 9 at the Sports Arena.
The celebration will take place from 6-8 p.m. and will allow the public to take photos with the student-athletes and coaching staff, as well as get autographs and hear speeches.
HutchCC capped off an unbeaten season, 37-0 on Monday evening with a national championship win over Northwest Florida State, 88-80.
The win gave the Blue Dragons it's first-ever national title in program history.
