SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Just before midnight Wednesday, a deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Polaris Magnum 4-wheeler in the 2300 block of NE Calhoun Bluff Road, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The driver identified as Randy D. Clelland, 60, of Topeka, was placed into custody and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on a misdemeanor warrant through Shawnee County and is facing requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and a traffic violation.
