MULVANE — The Kansas Interscholastic Activities Administrators Association named Hutchinson High School Activities Director Kevin Armstrong Kansas Athletic Director of the Year at their awards banquet Saturday.
Armstrong, who has served Hutchinson for 17 years and is retiring after this term, was also named District 4 Athletic Director of the Year. Armstrong has been in his current role at HHS for 6 years.
As Hutch Post previously reported, Eagle Media Hutchinson Sports Director Glen Grunwald was named Sportscaster of the Year by the group, as well.
