Holmberg wins City Stroke Play Sunday

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Fifty-two-year-old Kirk Holmberg played like he was 32 and won the 2020 City Stroke Play Tournament Sunday afternoon in Hutchinson.

This is Holmberg's third city stroke play title. Holmberg beat Brian Langlais in a sudden death playoff at Prairie Dunes Country Club.

Mike Kinney finished 3rd.

The first day of the tournament was played at Carey Park, day 2 was at Crazyhorse and Sunday at Prairie Dunes.

Nate Ratzlaff won the 1st Flight, Brendan Miller won 2nd Flight. Jamie Scott won 3rd Flight and Lanse Small won 4th Flight.
