Monarchs rally in the 7th to post victory over the Great Bend Bat Cats

GREAT BEND, Kan. - The Hutchinson Monarchs (15-4) got a key base hit by Drew Reetz in the top of the 7th to score Anthony Mackenzie and Tanner Barber for 2 of his 4 RBI's on the night to lead the Hutchinson Monarchs to a 8-6 victory over the Great Bend Bat Cats in Great Bend on Friday night.

Jake Hamilton was credited with the victory for Hutchinson. He surrendered five runs on six hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Carson Cornelius and Treyton Randall entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Randall recorded the last three outs to earn the save for the Monarchs.  

Hutchinson tallied ten hits. Barber, Mackenzie, and Reetz all managed multiple hits for the Monarchs. Barber went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Monarchs in hits.
