GIRLS GAME:
Hutch High Girls won going away 60-28 over Campus.
Freshman Grace Posch had 18 points, she was 4-4 from three point range. Harley Wilson had 15 on Senior Night at the SAC.
Tya Tindall led Campus with 13. Hutch took a 30-7 lead into the half and briefly led by 30 just before the end of the 3rd quarter.
Hutch is 16-3 and currently tied for 4th place in the 6A West standings with 1 game to go.
BOYS GAME:
The Hutch High Boys held off Campus 55-49 at the SAC Tuesday.
Hutch was led by Nic Lange's 19 pts. He had 13 at the half. Garret Robertson had 17, including 6 straight free throws in the 4th quarter.
Campus guard Aiden Sutter had 18, including 6 3's. Campus super sophomore Andrell Burton, Jr had 13 pts.
A Sutter 3 with 4:13 to go gave Campus a momentary lead 45-44 before Hutch High's Khalil Mendoza got a basket in the low block to give Hutch the lead 46-45 with 4:03 left.
The key call of the game came with 3:40 to go when Campus sophomore Kaason Thomas picked up his 4th foul and then was given a quick Technical for his 5th foul. Garrett Robertson hit all four free throws to give Hutch a 50-45 lead.
Campus' Sutter hit his 5th trey with 1:39 to play to make it 50-49 but Hutch scored the last 5 points to close it out.
Hutch travels to Derby on Friday. Campus will play Maize South on Friday.
