MCPHERSON, Kan. — Central Christian College in McPherson is conducting a confidential study of interested constituents to try to decide what the next major project for fundraising should be. The study closes on Friday.
On the table are potential residential expansion at a cost of $8 million, development of additional programs in Natural Science and Exercise Science and expansion of graduate programs in Human Resources and Family Therapy, which would cost $6 million, a new center for pediatric wellness to expand childcare and outpatient mental health and wellness services for children, teens, and their families as well as provide internship opportunities for current students, which is estimated at $5 million, or additional scholarship endowments at a cost of $5 million.
The study will be tabulated by the Timothy Group of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
