KSHSAA Executive Committee rejects proposal to delay the start of sports in Kansas 5-4

TOPEKA, Kan. - Kansas High school fall sports will begin August 17 in Kansas. The Kansas High School Athletics Association (KSHSAA) executive board on Tuesday voted down 5-4, a proposal to delay the start of some sports until after Labor. 

Executive director Bill Faflick presented the proposal that would have delayed the start of several of the the fall sports, but the Executive Committee rejected the proposal in a close votes.
