HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson USD 308 is conducting a survey to gather information from stakeholders on how ESSER COVID funds should be spent. The district is looking to apply for the relief funding in the spring and is looking for public input.
“We are working hard to do our due diligence to gather as much input as we possibly can from all stakeholders before even putting our application in,” Superintendent Mike Folks Said. “The survey link just went live for USD 308, but we also are planning several small group meetings.”
The district is going to take several different avenues to gather the needed information.
“We’re going to solicit and gather input one on one in many instances,” Folks said. “For everyone to have an opportunity (to provide ideas), we did put up the survey.”
If all goes as planned the district hopes to submit the application for funds in the spring.
“I think we plan on having it wrapped up sometime in March and try to get the application submitted sometime after spring break,” Folks said.
The survey is available at usd308.com. It will run through March.
