PAWNEE COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 2:30 p.m. Monday in Pawnee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2022 Ford Escape driven by Alondra Hernandez-Rodriguez, 22, Ulysses, was westbound on U.S. 156 at U.S. 183 eleven miles west of Larned.
The Ford struck the the front quarter panel fender of a northbound 2020 Toyota Corolla driven by Jessica Howard, 22, Pratt, who pulled out in front of the Escape.
EMS transported Hernandez-Rodriguez to Wesley Medical Center and Howard to the hospital in Larned. Two juveniles were present in the Ford. Their information is protected data. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
