HUTCHINSON, Kan. — After starting 1 of 12 from three and trailing 12-9 after one quarter, Hutchinson (9-2, 3-2) outscored Cowley in each of the last three quarters Wednesday night to get back in the win column.
The Dragons shot 40 three-pointers over the course of the night as Cowley sat back in a zone. Mya Williams hit 7 of her 13 three-point attempts and finished with a career-high 31 points.
Kalyn Ervin hit three triples to finish with 14 points and five assists.
Cowley got 20 points and seven rebounds from Carson Dean.
Martyna Kowalska just missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers (6-4, 2-3).
Hutchinson assisted on 18 of 21 made field goals, led by Ervin's five and five more from Tor'e Alford, who also had nine points.

Hutchinson shot 27.5% from three. The Dragons used 43.8% shooting in the final frame to close out the game.
Cowley shot 43.8%, but took 20 fewer shots.
Hutchinson capitalized on 26 Tiger turnovers.
