HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Disciples of Dirt youth mountain bike team, open to riders in grades 6-12, is excited to announce its meet-and-greet event for the upcoming 2025 season! The event will take place on October 30 at Harley’s Bicycles from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This is a fantastic opportunity for new and returning riders, parents, and the community to learn more about the team, its mission, and the exciting plans for the upcoming season.

Attendees will have the chance to meet the coaching staff, team members, and fellow riders while discovering what makes the Disciples of Dirt such a special community. The event will include information on training sessions, team goals, and how to get involved.

About Disciples of Dirt

The Disciples of Dirt is proud to be a part of the Kansas Interscholastic Cycling League (Kansas NICA), which was founded in 2019 as a non-profit (501(c)3) Emergent League of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA). The Kansas NICA League facilitates the development of high school and middle school teams/clubs for grades 6-12 and provides the education, training, licensing, and insurance for coaches and volunteers. The league also produces high-quality mountain bike events and races that emphasize the value of participation, camaraderie, positive sporting behavior, and well-being over competition.

Mission Statement: Provide high quality, safe and fun mountain bike programs for Kansas’ youth, exposing students to the opportunity to build strong mind, body, and character through an equal and inclusive scholastic-based program.
