HUTCHINSON, Kan. (Hutch Post) — The Hutchinson City Commission will meet on Tuesday evening.
During the meeting the commission will consider an ordinance to authorize the reconstruction of 30th Avenue between Main Street and Adams Street.
The reconstruction project entails asphalt milling, paving, waterline replacement, clearing and grubbing, seeding and utility adjustments. This particular project was included in the 2023 budget at the cost of $1,200,000. If the ordinance passes, the City of Hutchinson will issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $925,000.
Other items on the agenda include the continuation of the discussion on the building at 3504 East fourth avenue to consider the structure to be unsafe and dangerous and an update of another structure at 2100 South Bonebrake Street.
