Wichita East split with Hutch High Friday in a baseball doubleheader.
Game 1:
Hutchinson watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 14-1 loss to Wichita East on Friday.
Caiden Beavers and Bradyn Rodriguez each managed one hit for Hutch.
Wichita East collected seven hits in game one. Eli Kuttler and Theory Hollins had multiple hits for Wichita East.
Game 2
The second game was tied at seven with Hutchinson batting in the top of the seventh when an error gave Hutch the lead and they stretched it out to win 14-8.
There was plenty of action on the base paths as the Salthawks collected ten hits and Wichita East four.
Bradyn Rodriguez and Kinser Newquist each collected two hits to lead Hutchinson.
