Case count above 300 for first time since February

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The COVID-19 case count in Reno County is above 300 for the first time since February 6.

As of Monday afternoon, there were 330 active cases in the county. No new patients were admitted to the hospital as of Monday's report, but eight are still hospitalized at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

There are currently 59 patients total in the hospital for all causes and two ventilators in use by all patients.

The latest positive test rate data from last week showed a 17.5% positive test rate as of August 18th.
