KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Chiefs only made one pick on Friday at the NFL Draft. At No. 63, they selected OT Kingsley Suamataia from BYU.
The 21-year-old has experience at both left and right tackle playing almost half his snaps at each spot.
Suamataia was a boxer as a kid and allowed just two sacks in his last two seasons.
Detroit Lions left tackle Penei Sewell is his cousin and Suamataia has learned a lot from him, according to comments he made to Chiefs.com.
